Eyes on the Law is the newest of LINC Initiatives. LINC’s Eyes on the Law is a collaboration between staff members Telesa Jones and Cooper Mertens. Each quarter we will select a different topic relating to social justice, specifically those relating to our court systems, human rights, and issues impacting justice-involved individuals. We will do this through establishing a dedicated team that will partake in court watching, content & legal analysis, data collection, and interviews with impacted individuals to establish how newly implemented legislation and programs are making an impact in our community. We hope that through these publications, LINC can take the forefront in educating the community and establishing a reputable series of publications that present new perspectives and offer insight and solutions to the issues our society faces.
