LINC Inc. depends upon the generosity of donors like you to continually improve and expand our programs and services, and our impact.

There are many ways to support LINC, Inc.

You can support LINC Inc. through an out-right donation, event sponsorship, or gift of an item from the LINC Inc. Wish List. If you would like to discuss a monetary gift, donation of real property, or explore planned giving opportunities, contact our Director of Development.

Your gift – whether large or small – will help improve the lives of formerly incarcerated individuals and African American youth, and help them productive members of the community.

Gifts to LINC, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.

Annual Campaign

Through the generosity of donors like you, LINC, Inc. continues to improve and expand our programs and services, as well as expand social enterprise efforts. LINC’s Residential and Supportive Programs reach hundreds of individuals and impact hundreds of families every year, and have a compounded positive effect in our community.

Suggested Donor Levels:

LINC Angel | $25-$100

LINC Patron | $100 – $499

LINC Underwriter | $500 – $999

LINC Benefactor | $1,000 – $2,499

LINC Champion | $2,500 +

Fundraising events, like the Annual Milestones Dinner, provide another way for supporters to participate in the work that LINC is doing through sponsorships, ticket purchases, and gifts to the annual campaign.

Buy-a-Brick Campaign

If you would like to make both a donation and a motivational gift to LINC Inc., you can participate in the Buy a Brick campaign. Your purchase of a brick or paver will help LINC “Pave the Pathway to Freedom.”

The memorial walkway of inspiration is located at the M.E. Roberts Transitional Living Campus, and serves as a daily reminder of family and community support for the efforts our residents are making to turn their lives around.

This permanent walkway will serve as an acknowledgement to our residents and their families that many support them on their journey to become productive members of our community.

Your brick or paver is custom-ordered to include an inspirational saying, the name of a loved one in whose honor you are making the gift, or with your own name.

You can also donate items from the LINC Wish List help support programs and social enterprises with much-needed household items, tools, equipment, furniture, and everyday necessities.

Donated items can be new or gently used.

Donations are tax-deductible to extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. LINC Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.

Volunteer

LINC, Inc. programs benefit immensely from the input and efforts of volunteers from Wilmington and greater Cape Fear area. There are unlimited volunteer opportunities with LINC, Inc.’s youth program, adult re-entry program, within the M.E. Roberts Transitional Living Campus, and on the LINC Urban Farm.

If you are interested in volunteering, download the volunteer application, complete it, and email as an attachment to info@lincnc.org. Volunteer applications may also be dropped off at the LINC Inc. mail office at 222 Division Drive.
