What We Do

 

Employment Bootcamp at LINC, Inc. is a program designed to assist justice-involved and formerly incarcerated individuals in developing the mindset and real-life skills needed to secure employment. Employment Bootcamp was setup in November 2023 with funding from New Hanover County.

Flexible group or one-on-one sessions focus on providing guidance in:

  • Job hunting
  • Resume writing
  • Completing job applications
  • Attaining training, certifications, and mastering technology
  • Mock interviews
  • Pre- and post-interview counseling

Employment Bootcamp staff maintain relationships with Second Chance employers and provide references and referrals.

 

Who is Eligible for Employment Bootcamp

 

  • Justice-involved individuals
  • Formerly incarcerated individuals
  • New Hanover County residents

How to Apply

 

There is no formal application required to participate in Employment Bootcamp. Interested individuals should contact the facilitator by phone or email for the current days and times of sessions.
