LINC, Inc. Receives NHC ABC Board Grant

LINC, Inc. is featured in the New Hanover County ABC Board Grant Partnership Awareness Series. LINC was awarded $100,000 through the 2023 Health & Wellness Grant to aid in their mission to educate and motivate youth to make positive life choices and support those returning from incarceration.

Board Opportunity: Elevate Your Impact with Us

The dynamic and visionary board of LINC, Inc., works to empower change, drive impact, and shape the future of our community through their support and guidance of LINC’s programs, partnerships, initiatives, and service priorities. In 2024, a number of board seats will be opening, and new seats have been created by expanding the number of board members.

If you are interested in contributing your talents to the LINC, Inc. Board of Directors, we would love to have a conversation. The first step is send an introductory email to Board Chair Ashley Wells.

Welcome new Peer Support Specialist Samala Smith, who will be supporting M.E.R. residents in LINC’s permanent supportive housing, as well as clients who attend the Cognitive Behavior Intervention classes.Congratulations LINC, Inc. graduate, Zachary Furgurson. We are proud of your successes!
 
Watch for literature review-style publication from Eyes on the Law on the implementation of trauma-informed courts.New hires Samala SMith and Christopher Neal have completed the LINC Ally certification opportunity. They are now certified LINC Allies and denote their offices as safe spaces. Samala and Christopher are committed to providing comprehensive and empathetic services for all members of the community.
